I am so excited about these faux candy apples. I just saw them from my friend Heathers instagram. She is so darn creative and an absolute queen of halloween. Halloween DIY’s are definitely my favorite too. This halloween decor DIY is actually very simple. River helped me make them… and they look so dang cute everyone will be like OMG!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
STEP 1:
Mix about 15 drops of red food coloring into 3oz of Mod Podge. Its going to look pink.
STEP 2:
Take the apples and dip them into the bowl of Mod Podge. You are going to want to roll it around on all sides.
STEP 3:
Place all the apples onto a piece of wax paper and just wait. it should all dry within 10 hours. Don’t touch it.. just leave it alone. haha
STEP 4:
Remove the little faux stems that are ordingially on the apples and stick your real twig stems into the apple. Be sure to get longer twigs and leave some of the leaves on them. Waaaa Laa!
